Work @ Camp

Summer Camp Staff - Working At Camp RocksWhy does camp rock and why do you love camp so much? We asked some of you and here’s what you told us…

Camp’s a place where I can have fun doing my two favorite things – just be a kid again and at the same time share the love of Jesus Christ with all who attend!
~ Vangi Wagner – Sunrise

It’s one of the most rewarding jobs anyone could ever ask for! The kids are amazing, I grow in my walk with God in many ways and make friendships that will last a lifetime!
~ Corie McLeod – Mountainview

I can let loose and connect with amazing people who understand me and share the same beliefs as me :] (you also get a wicked tan)
~ Kristen Mooy – Jacksons Point

It’s a fulfilling witnessing experience intertwined with the opportunity to meet new people and work with children in a “fun” and safe environment.
~ Sarah Hoeft – Beaver Creek & Pine Lake

For the Newbies, here’s some terminology explanations.
STAFF = you’re paid to do what you love.
LIT = Leaders in Training. It’s an opportunity to get a taste of working at camp before you join the payroll! Staff positions are usually filled with people who have done well in LIT.
VOLUNTEER = pretty self explanatory.
